The Board of Regents approves the development of the Human Clinical Research Facility on the Texas A&M west campus. The building is planned to become the focus for human clinical trials to meet the needs of the Department of Health and Kinesiology and the campus community as a whole. The building will accelerate research on nutrition, exercise and bed rest requiring clinical trials. It opens a year later.
