The college begins a three-year partnership with Spring ISD in Houston, Texas to launch the Urban Student Teachers Advanced Residency program. This year-long clinical teaching experience provides pre-service teachers with professional and cultural experiences in urban schools and communities to better prepare them to transition to and thrive in urban schools.
