Prior to her time at Texas A&M, Alexander served as executive associate dean in the School of Education at Indiana University Bloomington. She previously served as chair of the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology for six years. She has been approved for another 5-year term as dean of the College of Education and Human Development.
